So close to Florence, you will find that a day in the city is compltely hassel-free.  Either take your car and leave it just outside Porta Romana or grab local public transport only 700 meters from the front door of the estate. Either way, you can spend all day walking around Florence enjoying the museums, markets, monuments and gelato. There are several small Chianti towns nearby, with excellent restaurants, local markets and delicious cafes with fresh pastries. Enjoy a morning strolling Impruneta before heading into the heart of Chianti for photos, wine tasting and trying out the region's best extra virgin olive oil.
