Located at the foot of the small hill of Monte Oliveto, close to the Florence city center, the bed and breakfast is a lovely home from the 1800s attentively restored and furnished by the owners,Tiziana and Ruggero.
The five guest rooms, all equipped with main comforts, are decorated in different colors and styles. The decor of the rooms have been chosen with care and passion in the best antique shops and in Italian and European antique markets.
Some rooms have their own private bathroom, while a few others share an adjoining bathroom.
The minimum stay in the bed and breakfast is two nights, except for lastminute offers.

Meet the Bovelli family, the owners of Il Palagetto
Ruggero is an agronomist, born in Umbria but after living in Florence for so many years, he is practically a native of the city. Along with Tiziana, their two daughters and beagle dog, they call a large turn-of-the-19th-century house their home where they welcome guests from all over the world. Ruggero loves spending time outdoors and hiking in the mountains, gardening, winter sports and anything related to the automotive world. He speaks English well, and basic level French and German.
His wife, Tiziana, is a landscape architect and interior designer, and her imprint can be seen in the restoration and furnishings of their Palagetto Guest House. She knows Florence very well: monuments, shops, points of interest and loves to share her favorites with guests of their B&B. Tiziana speaks French pretty fluently and feels comfortable in speaking English as well.
